Sue co-founded Riverside Personnel Services (RPS) over four decades ago at the age of 25. RPS is the area’s top placement service and built their reputation on quality matches as well as their active participation in the Riverside Community. Sue has taken a strong interest in leadership development having served on over a dozen nominating committees, chairing The Raincross Group’s Leadership committee for two decades and by presenting to The Pick Groups Board Development Classes. Sue has been a big supporter of the Pick Group, saying…”The Riverside Renaissance and the start-up of the Pick Group are the two best things that happened in Riverside in the past decade.”
On her 60th birthday, Sue began pursuing a life-long desire to be an artist. She took a 52 week sabbatical that resulted in a two-gallery, three-month exhibition called “52” at the Riverside Art Museum that opened on her 61st birthday. Her current pet project, as a Riverside Art Museum Board member, is to help get the Cheech open this summer.
Sue is grappling with the fact that she is semi-retired and will turn 70 this year. She is trying to figure out her comeback after the isolation of Covid these past two years. She is still dedicated to leadership development and she hopes you will join her in making this a lifelong pursuit.
In reminiscing about the past four decades, she feels that Riverside was the perfect place to thrive personally and professionally and hopes you all will be able to reflect in the same way 40 years from now.
