My professional motto is: “I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.” Charles Swindoll; “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.” Helen Keller
My advice to other Young Pros is: Be okay with getting out of your comfort zone, be proactive, be intentional, find a mentor, and strive for work-life balance!
When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: Braving the world for my amazing son, Running, or at the Beach.
I joined PICK because: To build new relationships with other young motivated professionals and get more involved in the Riverside community.
PICK is awesome because: The people are amazing! Also, there are numerous opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
I maximize my PICK membership by: Serving on the PICK Board and being engaged with the Professional Development Committee .
The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: K-12 and college student success, housing, and keeping Riverside clean.
