Remember that your work ethic will always speak louder than your promises. Let your actions prove your value, rather than trying to convince people of it with words.

Brad Sneckner

IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

I am: 33

I’m a Mortgage Loan Originator at MegaStar Financial Corporation

I get involved in my community through the following organization(s): PICK Group, The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce, and Inspire Life Skills.

I’m proud of this achievement: Buying my first house at 23, and traveling the world to engage other cultures and expand my perspective.

I am a happy resident in the City of: Riverside

My career goals are to: Contribute to the development and engagement of young professionals, both professionally and personally, as well as to continue growing a business that serves clients and business partners with integrity, and consistency.

My professional motto is: There is nothing more powerful than realizing you have to care about the success of others as much as your own, in order to transcend the limitations of your own capabilities. Also, if you start something, or commit to something, finish it.

My advice to other YoPros is: Remember that your work ethic will always speak louder than your promises. Let your actions prove your value, rather than trying to convince people of it with words.

When I’m not working or volunteering, you can find me: Traversing other countries and mountainscapes of the world with a backpack and tent, flying small airplanes, or playing soccer or golf.

I joined PICK because: I wanted to engage with other talented young professionals, and help to build and enrich their careers and lives in a dynamic and authentic way.

PICK is awesome because: It provides a place for young professionals to grow their careers, and develop professionally. It also creates a community of people who want to collaborate on ways to improve the community in which we live and/or work.

I maximize my PICK membership by: Serving on the board, contributing to the professional development committee, and attending every event that I can. As well as spreading the word about PICK, because the more engaged professionals we have, the more dynamic and capable we will all be.

The issues in Riverside that I care about most are: Helping local businesses grow, and attract new talent to their organizations, as well as exposing graduates and other young professionals to the great opportunities within Riverside.
